You get to see and experience fireflies in parts of Malaysia. They may not be as exciting as fireworks. They are quiet and you have to be quiet too so as not to frighten them. Because they live near swamps, you have to get to where they are by boat. This is what Azmi did with his father. It is a magical night he will not forget as well as the special time he spent with his father. But we do not see many fireflies today because they are losing their homes to development and pollution. 作者简介

LIM LAY HAR has published two picture books and one chapter book. Her chapter book, Master & Apprentice won the Calistro Prize in 2012. She loves the magic of the everyday and writes about them with charm. She lives in Ipoh with her three children.

LIM LAY KOON comes from a computer science background. She is a self-taught illustrator and enjoys illustrating the little details of everyday life. She has published several books with her sister Lay Har, such as Atuk's Amazing Sarong and Atuk's Amazing Sarong. She has also illustrated a scifi chapter book, The Nanobots and Other Stories by Golda Mowe. Other books include The Mystery of the Missing National Anthem by Heidi Shamsuddin.
