I was once given an expensive brand (Estee Lauder) of illuminator base which looks great under mineral powder foundation, making it look dewy. When I ran out, I purchased this brand as a replacement. When first applied, it looks much shinier. But after applying the mineral powder foundation over it, the effect is subtle. This is my second purchase, and I think it will be my go-to brand from now on. I am happy with this product.

I liked this product because it helps prep my face for my full face makeup application. Since I like a matte finish, I just apply matte finishing powder all over my face when I am finished applying my makeup, but the luminous effect is still visible. It could be because my face is oily though... I loved this product and it does not make me break out. I also apply this product to my eyelids to help my eyeshadow pop and it gets the job done!
