Concrete structures undergo different forms of damage during their service life. The damage phenomena covered are delamination, pop-out, spalling, scaling, drying shrinkage, cracking, corrosion-induced cracking, map cracking, rust and salt stains, discoloration, mold and moss growths. Concrete damage occurs during the service life of concrete structures due to physical and chemical attacks driven by aggressive environments.

Surface treatments such as sealers, coatings, membranes, and impregnation resins are currently
used for the protection of concrete structures. Sealers or coatings are applied on concrete
surfaces to protect the underlying concrete. In infrastructure projects, they are used for the protection
of bridge components and pavement. Their main purpose is to reduce the penetration of water,
de-icing or anti-icing salts, and deleterious gases such as carbon dioxide into concrete.

Our All new TOP-SLATE professional formulations is produced to combat these factors arising from unwanted agents of Denudation. Technologically made from a silicate which is combined with water resistant Resin, will secure and protect your floors or pavements for a longer conservative shelf life.

Generally, sealers function by reacting with the components of the inorganic concrete to fill pores, making it difficult for water to penetrate the surface.
HOW TO USE:

Prep the Surface by Cleaning the Concrete
Step 1: Clean the Surface
Step 2: Deep-Clean
Step 3: Mop and Dry
Step 4: Fill Cracks

IF THERE IS AN EXISTING SEALER,
Step 2: Strip the Existing Sealer
Step 3: Scrape the Surface
Step 4: Clean and Dry

APPLYING THE SEALANT
Step 1: Apply the First Coat
Apply the first coat and wait at least 45 minutes before applying the second. Apply two thin coats to ensure a smooth and even finish.

NOTE:
If you're sealing an interior concrete floor, make sure that you have plenty of ventilation.

Step 2: Apply the Second Coat
Step 3: Allow for Drying
