AS568 is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings from the Society of Automotive Engineers. SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) specifies the inside diameters, cross-sections, tolerances, and size identification codes (dash numbers) for O-rings used in sealing applications and for straight thread tube fitting boss gaskets.

FKM 75 material is the closest to a universal elastomer for sealing over other types of elastomers. Fluorocarbon o-ring are commonly referred to as a o-ring, or FKM, Fluorel, FPM o-ring.
