It has a rich and hearty taste. A source of fibre, essential amino acid and lysine. Cook 1 cup rye grain in 2 1/2 cup water & a pinch of sea salt.
Bring to boil and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. You may presoak rye grains overnight for a softer texture.
Makes delicious casseroles and cook with rice. Also for sprouting.
