Issey Miyake is a Japanese fashion designer who launched his very first perfume in 1992. All scents are developed by Miyake Design Studio in cooperation with Beauté Prestige International in France. Similar to Miyake's clothes design method, all fragrances are developed to fit modern-day life. This particular fragrance was established by Dominique Ropion, a French perfumer following in his family's custom of working the fragrance industry.
