Bokashi is saturated with beneficial microorganisms specifically selected to aid the food waste recycling and increases the effectiveness of organic materials as fertilizers. It helps to cultivate the beneficial microorganisms as food decomposes, speeding the process of fermentation and reducing foul odours. It can also be used directly as a soil amendment to increase the nutrient level and microbial diversity of the soil for planting.

How to use Bio Booster: for food waste recycling
1. Spread a handful of Bio Booster at the bottom of KitcoBin before adding food waste.
2. Add in the fresh food waste into KitcoBin. Break the food waste into small pieces for easy composting.
3. Sprinkle a handful of Bio Booster for every 1 inch of food waste added into KitcoBin and close the lid tightly.
4. Periodically, drain the liquid accumulated at the bottom of KitcoBin and uses it as liquid fertilizer, on the same day.
5. Repeat until KitcoBin is full.
6. Once the bin is filled to capacity, allow it to ferment for 2 weeks or more at room temperature. (Fermented compost will not completely degrade but will retain much of its original physical properties and will have a pickled appearance. Complete breakdown of material will occur once it is transferred into the soil.)

Fermented food waste can be buried in a hole and covered with 6 inches of dirt or layered in a compost pile to accelerate decomposition.

For Gardening
• Apply on mulch or plant residue at a rate of 100 grams per 1 square meter.
• Add at 5% to potting soil mixes. Keep Bio Booster closed in an air-tight bag during storage. Use Bio Booster within 1 year of purchase.
