The cold process soap making process does not exceed 45°C, the soap will appear to look more shiny and polished, more flexibility to do swirls and embeds. It takes 6 weeks to cure the soap and make it stable and dry.

Hot process soap is heated continuously by high-temperature boiling, stirring constantly to accelerate the complete saponification. At the same time, the water evaporates more at high temperature, the soap is further dried, and become more stable.

The advantage of hot process soap is that it is completely saponified and can be used immediately after production. The disadvantage is that the soap body is rough and cannot be as fine and smooth as cold process soap.

Note:

Natural handmade soap does not contain any added colours, flavours, preservatives and chemical additives

Each batch of soap may have different colour and appearance due to various factors such as hand-made, temperature, different batch of oils and raw materials, etc., and it will not affect the feeling of use

If there is white powder on the surface of the soap, it is the natural soap powder produced during the saponification process which will not affect the quality, it is perfectly safe to use

It is normal to have little yellow spots

冷制皂制作全程不超过45°C，皂体细致，可随意制作各种渲染和造型。需经6星期晾皂过程，以让成皂常规稳定和干燥。

热制皂以高温熬煮的方式持续加热，不停的翻搅，加速皂化完全，水份同时高温的情况下蒸发得更多，皂体进一步干燥，成皂也更加稳定。

热制皂的优点是皂化完全，制作后可以马上使用，缺点是皂体粗糙，无法像冷制皂那样细致平滑。
