How long do they last? Honeywraps last up to years following our simple care instructions.
Made in New Zealand. Products are handmade and will, therefore, have some variation in detail, size, and shape.
Pack Includes: 1 x Small 17x20cm, 1 x Medium 31x27cm, 1 x Large 35x33cm
How to use:
Use the warmth of your hands to shape your Honeywrap over food and dishes. e.g. sushi, veges, salad bowls, bread etc. The Honeywrap sticks to itself when you press firmly over the bowl/ plate. They are a great way to help keep food fresher for longer too. When stored in the fridge the beeswax will harden further, retaining the shape and sealing in the goodness.
How to care for:
When your Honeywrap needs a clean always use cold water and mild soap (eco-friendly is best). Either immerse your Honeywrap in cold water and dish soap or sponge off with a dishcloth. Air dry on a dish rack or use a tea towel to pat dry off. Storing in our tea-towel drawer works for us.
Some oils and sauces may stain your Honeywrap, but your food stays fresh. Don't forget that Honeywraps don't like the heat so avoid dishwashers, microwaves, and ovens. Do not use to cover raw meat. Avoid leaving in direct sunlight, like hot cars.
Your Honeywrap can be used again and again following these simple steps.
Disposal
1. Beeswax wraps last a long time if cared for correctly. Link to care instructions
2. The wraps are biodegradable and will break down easily. It can also be used to light fires as the wax burns well for up to 15 mins.
