Mee Siput is a famous local noodles which originated and is most available in Muar.It got its name as it is made of wheat flour that shaped into noodle thread and swirled resemble like the shell of a snail
It is then deep-fried in cooking oil until crispy and crunchy. It is best eaten with dry sauces; chili sauce, soup or paste.
