The pigmented leads are vibrant, water resistant, lightfast, and acid free. They also offer great smoothness, consistency, opacity, and blendability. The leads are thick3.8 mm acrossand SV-bonded to the wood casing for maximum break resistance. They are also color-matched to other Faber-Castell products, letting you achieve consistent colors across different media.

These pencils feature oil-based lead cores. Their wood casings were harvested from sustainably managed forests and are coated with an environmentally friendly water-based varnish.
