Made from a combination of herbs, the Chameleonplant (Houttuynia cordata), Misai Kuching (Orthosiphon stamineus) and Ginseng herb (Radix Astragalus membranaceus), LUNMATE serves to strengthen and clean the lungs. The chameleon plant, known in Chinese as Yu-xing-cao, in traditional medicine is used to treat lung abscess, edema, urinary infections, chronic bronchitis, hemorrhoids and rheumatism.

The Chinese healers believe that problems involving lungs are often interrelated with kidneys and that is why this remedy has included the Misai Kuching, Mau Sou Chou in Cantonese, an established medicinal herb in many cultures of Asia. Studies show Misai Kuching has anti-allergic, anti-hypertensive, anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties. It is used as a remedy for arteriosclerosis (capillary and circulatory disorders), kidney stones, diabetes and nephritis.
