巴西當代作家、翻譯、編輯。一九四七年生於巴西戈亞斯州雅拉瓜市。西爾維拉對政治運動充滿激情與嚮往。巴西軍政府獨裁期間，西爾維拉因顛覆罪被當局通緝追捕。無奈之下，她與丈夫流亡至秘魯，直至一九七六年才返回巴西。
