作者簡介：
黃愛玲
生於香港，七十年代隨丈夫赴法國期間進修電影，於法國社會科學高等學院師從Christian Metz。回港後歷任香港國際電影節英文編輯、香港藝術中心電影部策劃、香港國際電影節節目策劃及香港電影資料館研究主任，其後為自由身文化工作者，兼教授電影課程。她畢生致力於電影評論及歷史研究，推動電影文化、提攜後進不遺餘力。
黃愛玲書寫電影文采斐然，流麗感性中不乏深刻洞見，備受影評界、文學界推崇。其文章散見於各大報章、雜誌及期刊，結集為《戲緣》和《夢餘說夢》（兩卷），編有《詩人導演——費穆》、《理想年代——長城、鳳凰的日子》、《國泰故事》、《邵氏電影初探》、《李晨風——評論．電影筆記》、《粵港電影因緣》、《現代萬歲——光藝的都市風華》、《風花雪月李翰祥》、《故園春夢——朱石麟的電影人生》、《冷戰與香港電影》、《費穆電影——孔夫子》、《中國電影溯源》、《王家衛的映畫世界（2015版）》等。
