維斯拉瓦．辛波斯卡（Wislawa Szymborska）
當代極為迷人的詩人之一，享有「詩界莫扎特」的美譽。一九二三年生於波蘭小鎮布寧。擅長以幽默、詩意的口吻描述嚴肅主題和日常事物，以詩歌回答生活。一九九六年獲得諾貝爾文學獎。二〇〇一年成為美國文學藝術學院名譽會員，系美國授予傑出藝術家的最高榮譽。二〇一二年二月一日，於克拉科夫逝世。
內容簡介：
《我曾這樣寂寞生活》是諾貝爾文學獎獲獎詩人辛波斯卡繼《萬物靜默如謎》之后又一經典詩集。在這本詩集中，詩人用機智、迷人的聲音與語調，訴說了對家人的懷念與讚美、對世間種種生活的愛、對消逝的時間與國度的迷戀、對日常和萬物的詩意描摹，隱隱折射出詩人內心的豐富世界和她的寂寞生活。
書中收錄《告別風景》《事件的版本》《從無饋贈》《我致力於創造一個世界》《在赫拉克利特的河中》《時代之子》等八十多首詩作，同時重譯了《萬物靜默如謎》中廣為流傳的《一見鍾情》《種種可能》《在一顆小星星下》等十餘首作品，可以在不同的譯文中窺見經典的韻味。
