內容簡介：
白光，原名史永芬，生於北京，是1940至1950年代中國紅極一時的著名影星，並以磁性女低音風靡歌壇的歌星；香港時期，白光因演出《蕩婦心》（1949年）、《一代妖姬》（1950年）、《玫瑰花開》（1951年）在港創下事業最高峰，被稱為中國「一代妖姬」。晚年白光隱居馬來西亞首都吉隆坡。1999年8月27日，因結腸癌在吉隆坡病逝。
白光經歷中國女性小腳解放、中日抗戰、國共內戰，珍珠港事變……在那個動亂的時代，白光是當時前衛的留日女留學生，還參加了中國第一代招收女性演員的劇團，並一炮而紅。除此之外，白光的感情生活更是精采。來自台灣的音樂才子江文也，是白光一生的摯愛，兩人訂了婚，卻因第三者介入解除婚約；而後，白光在演藝事業當紅之時，她嫁給了外號「白毛」的飛虎隊員，開啟異國婚姻之先驅，在當時保守的中國社會都是轟動一時的大事。連晚年低調的姊弟戀，也都洋洋灑灑。
本書是第一本完整記述白光傳奇一生的傳記，亦是唯一於白光離世前貼身記錄白光晚年生活的著作。此外本書還特別收錄資深評論家黃仁老師對白光演技及歌藝總評，以及完整的白光主演電影劇情介紹；白光演唱歌曲年表與歌詞集。本書帶你一窺這位「中國的亂世佳人」的傳奇一生。
