作者簡介：
楊青矗
1940年出生於臺南縣七股鄉一個世代務農的貧困家庭。後來父親到中油高雄煉油廠任消防隊員，所以11歲隨父母遷居高雄。1961年父親不幸殉職，被以撫恤遺族身分進入高雄煉油廠工作了19年，在此寫下《在室男》、《工廠人》、《工廠女兒圈》等以農民、工人為主角之小說著作，並跨足工運及政治，1979年因美麗島事件入獄四年，出獄後專注臺語語文與研究，編著有《台華雙語辭典》、《台灣俗語辭典》、《台詩三百首》等。
