隨庭
生於中國，十五歲赴新加坡求學，2016年於新加坡國立大學中文系獲得碩士學位，目前在耶魯國大學院擔任中文講師。主要創作小說，曾獲2015年新加坡大專文學獎小說組首獎、聯合早報金獎及2015年新加坡金筆獎小說組首獎，獲獎小說收錄於《2015文字現象》。2019年6月，出版首部短篇小說集《孕魚》。熱愛劇場，擔任新加坡華文劇評網站「眾觀」的駐站劇評人和《聯合早報》特邀劇評人，已發表劇評二十多篇。
內容簡介：
2015年金筆獎得主隨庭出版了第一部短篇小說集《孕魚》，收錄八部短篇小說，包括2015年金筆獎中文組小說組首獎《孕魚》與2015年新加坡大專文學獎小說組首獎、聯合早報金獎《老店》。
《孕魚》是關於一個女人遭遇海難時將整條魚生食，然後懷了身孕的故事。作者隨庭以充滿奇幻色彩的人魚意象，隱喻女性生育的命題，刻畫出人的存在狀態與意境。而《老店》則敘述得了怪病的老店主突入一段歷史記憶，交錯地敘述老店與老主人命運重疊的結局，情節虛實相生，展現傳統和現代發展之間的格格不入，深刻又觸動人心。新加坡作家杜南發曾評價：「《老店》和《孕魚》風格迥異，文筆隨敘事而變化，表現作者舒展自如的多樣化功力。」
隨庭敏銳感性，熱衷書寫城市生活的隱秘故事，尤為關注女性，如墳場歸來的白領從濕潤的眼眶重獲快感、婚姻中的第三者偶然進入寺廟禪修七日、一位剛分手的女子迂回的心情等等，透過小說關照她們在生活中品嘗的愛與苦，因為───「夜晚的城市，萬家燈火，最是孤獨」。
