內容簡介：
作者爬梳了那些進入傳統陽剛領域的女性發展史，並討論她們的出現如何改變了科學的思考方式與認知。她的結論是，女性主義觀點目前雖然對物理科學與數學的影響不大，但女性參與程度提高所帶來的影響卻已經在醫學、考古學、靈長動物學以及演化與生殖生物學顯現出來。
