陳蝶
原名陳婉容，1953年出生於檳島，祖籍廣東梅縣。
華小畢業後就讀國文中學。高中畢業後獲聘為吉隆坡內政部書刊檢閱員，一直工作至退休。1984年曾被調職往砂拉越首府古晉，1999年調回吉隆坡布城。2011年退休後獲聘為內政部電影檢查局局員至2013年。
成長於山區，飽受西山、旗山與鶴山鍾靈之氣灌沐，以及四面潮汐之澎拍，加之父親閱讀習慣陶塑下，與文學結緣。高中時投稿亦是在家鄉的《教與學月刊》，曾陸續獲得王萬才散文獎、蕭畹香散文獎、砂拉越星座詩社散文獎，星洲日報花蹤文學獎散文獎，以及天狼星詩社大馬現代詩獎主獎。
1989年由砂拉越華文作家協會出版散文集《蝶之集》，以及1992年再由該協會出版《父女圖》。2020年，獲得雪蘭莪陳志英張元玲教育基金贊助出版散文集《天色將暮君何往》。
內容簡介：
陳蝶二十三萬字長篇武俠小說。以六百多年前明朝燕王朱棣篡位、建文帝逃亡為背景，引入文壇友朋、作者文學歷程和事跡，糅合成一個前所未見之刀劍／筆墨江湖。
馬華著名詩人及評論家溫任平長序推薦：「陳蝶《南邦詩劍煙雲錄》是一部變體自傳（autobiography），書裡可以找到超過二百八十位馬華文壇本尊。多數人物名字以諧音出現，用指事、會意、假借之法或借代或暗示。陳蝶無意於惡搞諧諷，她用心於通過一個虛擬蜨姑，交代自己五十年來所識人物與經歷。」
