作者簡介：
陳丹燕
1958年12月18日生於北京。1972年在上海讀中學，開始於《上海少年》發表少年習作。1978年進入華東師範大學中文系。1984年開始發表兒童文學和青春文學作品，並創作散文、小說。為大陸青春文學第一代作家，也是知名的廣播節目主持人。
1995年《一個女孩》德譯本《九生》在瑞士出版，被德國之聲選為最佳童書。1996年《九生》獲奧地利國家青少年圖書獎、德國國家青少年圖書獎銀獎。
著有《我的媽媽是精靈》、陳丹燕閱歷三部曲（《唯美主義者的舞蹈》、《上海沙拉》、《蝴蝶已飛》）、《成為和平飯店》、《獨生子女宣言》、《走呀》、《上海的金枝玉葉》、《中國少女》等多部。
其作品在大陸、香港和臺灣等地數度登上暢銷排行榜，並曾獲得聯合國教科文組織文學金獎、中國兒童文學優秀作品獎等。作品有德國、法國、美國、日本、奧地利、瑞士、義大利、越南、印度以及俄羅斯等譯本。
