Derwent Inktense Watercolour Pencils
The Inktense range combines the intensity of pen and ink with the versatility of line and wash. As highly pigmented colouring pencils when used dry or ink-like watercolour pencils when wet, Inktense offers vibrant, intense colour for bold expressive drawings, without the mess associated with traditional watercolour paints.
Water-soluble
A watercolour painting can be created by applying a light wash to the dry colour to wash out the pigment for the ink effects. When dry the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media allowing for finer detail and areas of vibrant colour to be added. A non-soluble outliner pencil is included within tins of 24 and above, which allows permanent outlines to be added, even when water is applied.
Ideal for a Diverse Range of Pencil Art
The 24 tin contains 23 Inktense water-soluble colours plus the non-soluble outliner pencil. The pencils are easy to sharpen and break resistant, making them ideal for long periods of use. They are incredibly versatile and are ideal for a diverse range of pencil art including Japanese manga, silk painting and unique quilting projects, suiting illustrators, flower artists and fashion designers amongst others. The diverse colours also make it ideal for use with Adult Colouring Books and Relax Therapy Art Books.

What if I haven't received my order?
Something might have gone wrong if you still haven't received your order within 14 business days after you've placed your order and made payment.
