Graphic Pencils - A Derwent Staple
The Graphic pencils are a Derwent staple; graphite was first discovered in the 1500s in Borrowdale in the Lake District, a stones throw from Derwents first pencil factory and the company produced the first graphite pencil in the UK.

The 6 tin contains 6 different degrees of Derwent Graphic pencils, plus a sharpener. The pencils are a popular choice and are widely used by designers, artists and illustrators.
Finished in black livery with a distinct orange stripe for easy identification, the pencils degree is imprinted into its paintwork. The hexagonal barrel allows for greater precision and control and the pencils are easy to sharpen and break resistant for long periods of use.

Graphic 6 Tin
H stands for Hard and B stands for Black, therefore the higher the number the Harder or Blacker the pencil. The Graphic 6 tin contains HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B drawing pencils, offering soft smudge-able lines to build up layers of tone and the harder 2H pencil for fine straight lines and detailed work, plus a sharpener.
