This model is the product of collaboration with SCUDERIA TORO ROSSO, a racing team supported by EDIFICE. The base model is the ECB-800, the latest addition to the EDIFICE Smartphone Linking Series that is a metal chronograph carbon bezel with digital window and high-grade specifications.
The blue, red, and silver coloring of the SCUDERIA TORO ROSSO team cars is used to create a face design that resembles the team logo, which is sure to make this model a must-have item for SCUDERIA TORO ROSSO fans. This model incorporates carbon fiber materials, which is suitable for a racing team collaboration model. The band is made of new Dura Soft Fluoro Rubber, which is soft and gentle on the skin. This material is the same type of as that used in a racing engine. All of this makes the band perfect for racing scene wear.
Functions are the same as the ECB-800 base model. The watch automatically links up with a smartphone four times a day and adjusts its time settings, while the EDIFICE Connected phone app makes it easy to select the watchs World Time City from among approximately 300 cities World Time cities around the globe. Summer time settings are also updated automatically.
The watchs 1/1000-second stopwatch comes with memory for 200 lap time records. A target time indicator shows the relative difference between a lap time and a target time set with the phone app, for instant intuitive feedback, while a countdown that starts 30 seconds before the target time lets you know when a car you want to follow is expected to pass during a race. This function is one that was requested by professional racing team members who require such information to determine the timing when race engineers need to display the pit board. Lap time measurement also makes it possible to calculate average speeds.
An LED light Super Illuminator and other advanced features and functions are powered by a solar power system that enables long-term use without the need to replace batteries.
