Buck Knives

Designed for excellent performance, the compact Pursuit Pro hunting knives combine a highly visible, sure-grip handle with Buck's high-end S35VN Steel. Available in two sizes and also with a guthook option, the folding Pursuits cover field needs for a range of hunters.

Buck's S35VN steel provides the same edge retention as S30V steel but its properties allow it to resharpen easier, making it a great choice for skinning multiple animals with the option of field sharpening when necessary. Easily opened with one hand, the blade is secured with a lockback mechanism for safe use.

The comfortable and contoured handle provides a durable knife that reduces hand fatigue while working. Made in the USA and backed by Buck's famous Forever Warranty, the Pursuit Pro is an affordable, high end skinning knife packed easily in a heavy-duty polyester sheath.

Lockback

Lockback folding knives have a mechanism that lock the blade in the open position, activated by opening the blade all the way. A lock back gets its name from a rocker (rocking lock bar) partially visible on top of the knife. Opening the blade causes the rocker to lock against the blade so it locks open. Pushing down on the rocker on top of the handle releases it and enables the user to close the blade. Lockbacks require two hand closing, though some are one hand openers.
