BentoMastic, of which main ingredient is sodium bentonite, is a hydrating and swelling seal mastic. Main application is to fill form-tie holes, honey-combs penetration and damaged or defective once of waterproofing sheet, prior to, during and after installation of GCL (geosynthetic clay liner).

Characteristics

1. 4S effect is displayed when it is hydrated with water in concrete but not able to swell free in confined state

2. *4S: Self-adhering to structure surface, Self-detailing corners, Self-seaming overlapped joints of bentonite sheets, and Self-sealing minor cracks of structures

3. Easy and fast to apply by trowel

4. When hydrated and expanded, 4S effect is displayed

Use

• To flatten uneven concrete surface and fill in form-tie hole

• To complement sealing around such vertical or horizontal penetrations as pipe, anchor, H-beam, and pile head

• Repair of damages in waterproofing by BentoSheet and BentoTex

• To complement sealing between overlaps of BentoTex
