Pack Checker pH

With this product, it is very easy to measure the level of pH: just pump the water into a tube. Most water plants and tropical fish prefer soft and slightly acidic water. Please check the pH level before releasing the fish into the aquarium and during regular water changes.

Pack Checker TH

TH (Total Hardness of water) is the sum of some multivalent cations, such as calcium ions, in water.When the TH level is high, the color of new leaves starts fading and the growth of the plants is disturbed. Please always check the level of THaftersetting new stones or gravels in your aquarium.

Pack Checker NH₄

Ammonium is from organic matter, such as unconsumed fish food or excretion of fish, and it changes to a high toxicity ammonia when the water quality becomes alkaline. Ammonium disappears once biological filtration works normal. This product helps you to know when the biological filtration starts working properly.

Pack Checker NO₂

Nitrite formed fromammonia is harmful to aquatic creatures,such as fish and shrimp. The level of NO₂in the tank goes up rightafter the initialset-up of theaquarium and when the biological filtration becomes unstable. Excellentfor examining the condition of the filter system.

Pack Checker NO₃

When the biological filtration of the aquariumis working properly, nitrite quickly decomposes into harmless nitrate. Itbecomes an important nutrientfor the water plants.Yet,the excess amount ofnitrate in the waterpromotes algae growth.

Pack Checker ClO

The amount of chlorine residue in tap water varies by locality and temperature. It is very important tocheckif the water is neutralized properlyon regular basis. A close observation ofthe CIO level is recommendedduring winter time when the amount of chlorine residue is higher.

Pack Checker COD

The organicmatter from the leftover fish food and excretion of fishcontaminates the water, and also causes the algae and germs inside the aquarium. CODis one of the indicatorswhich tellsthe degree of water deterioration. When theaquarium is dirty orhas too many fish inside,we see the high level of COD.

Pack Checker PO₄

Phosphate, produced from leftover fish food and wastes, is one of reasons of algae growth. Therefore, there is a possibility Phosphate is accumulated in the aquarium due to the overpopulation of fish or too much feeding. Please check the PO₄level, and make a necessary water change.
