一般去药店买酒精，外用酒精的浓度分为75%和95%两个级别的，9成的人都搞不清楚，95%和75%的酒精，到底哪种消毒杀菌效果好？为什么要用这种浓度？可以用来消毒伤口吗？

首先搞清楚为什么酒精能杀菌，最主要是利用酒精引起蛋白质变性，导致细菌或是病毒的死亡。许多人以为，酒精浓度越高，消毒效果越好，其实是错误的。经过科学家研究证实，75%的酒精，可以兼具蛋白质凝固作用及穿透效果，达到彻底的杀菌功能。大家在家自行稀释时，只要浓度介于70-78％的酒精都可以达到杀菌99％的效果，并非一定要稀释到准确的浓度才有杀菌作用。

75%酒精适用于消毒完整没有伤口的皮肤，例如在医院诊所打针前，护士小姐总是会先用棉球沾取75%酒精擦拭扎针部位。然而，对于有伤口的皮肤，请不要拿75%酒精消毒，一方面75%酒精会造成强烈的刺痛感，二来也会影响伤口的愈合，建议使用碘伏消毒即可。
