Intensive care cream for flare-ups of very dry skin

Eucerin OMEGA Acute Care Cream has been specially formulated to offer relief and intensive care for skin undergoing a flare-up of very dry skin. The formula has a unique active ingredient complex of soothing Licochalcone A, anti-bacterial Decandiol and anti-itching and cooling Methoxypropandiol (MPD). This complex, combined with a high concentration of Ceramides, strengthens skins barrier, alleviates dryness and relieves itchiness at a sensory level, thereby reducing the need to scratch.

Fragrance-free, the cream for very dry & irritable skin can be applied as often as needed on affected areas and has been shown to support sleep and improve quality of life for those with very dry skin. Suitable for adults, children and babies from four weeks.

Main findings

In a Product in Use (PiU) test, by a sample of 144 men and women, all aged 30+, with very dry skin. After four weeks of daily use they reported the following results:

Improves quality of life

Before the trial, 92% of the sample agreed that very dry skin affected their quality of life. After four weeks of using the OMEGA products, only 38% of the sample agreed that the disease affected their quality of life. From this we can infer that, as a result of using the products, 54% of the sample felt there was an improvement in their quality of life.
