DESCRIPTION
Silymarin is excellent for liver cell protection and antioxidant actions. It has been used for the treatment of liver disease in Europe and the like for thousands of years. It is the most commonly used herbal medicine for the treatment of hepatitis C virus in the United States for the treatment of cirrhosis. It improves liver function abnormalities and reduces mortality from cirrhosis. Even when administered for a long time, there is little adverse reaction and it is safe.
