Bactigras* is an antiseptic, soft paraffin dressing which soothes and protects the wound whilst helping to reduce wound infection and inflammation. It has low adherence and allows the wound to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing. Bactigras is suitable for covering wounds such as minor burns, lacerations, abrasions, graft sites and leg ulcers.

Retention options

Requires a secondary dressing such as PRIMAPORE™ or MELOLIN™ to absorb wound fluid and can be held in place by PRIMACREPE™ or PRIMAGAUZE™ bandage or PRIMATAPE™.

Recommended uses

• Minor burns
• Grazes
• Cuts

Application

Step 1: Wash hands before and after treating the wound. Gently clean the wound and the surrounding skin.

Step 2: Open foil sachet. Peel off protective backing paper to reveal BACTIGRAS™.

Step 3: Place BACTIGRAS onto wound, cover with MELOLIN^◊ pad and hold in place with a tape or bandage.
