Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) also known as Oral Rehydration Therapy (ORT) is a type of fluid replacement used to preventdehydration, especially that due to diarrhea. It involves drinking water with modest amounts of sugar and salts, specifically sodium and potassium.

Ingredients:

Sodium Chloride----------650 mg
Potassium Chloride-------375 mg
Trisodium citrate ---------725 mg
Anhydrous glucose------ 3.375 g

Direction of Use;

Dissolve contents of 1 sachet in 250 mL cool, boiled water.

Adult: 250 mL 4 times for 1st 2 hours up to 12 times daily.

Children 2-5 year: 250 mL 3 times for 1st 2 hr up to 6 timesdaily;Less than2 year:250 mL for 1st 2 hours up to three times a day.
