PROPERTIES & USES

Because of the gentle properties of Lavender it can be applied topically on even some of the most sensitive of skin. Topical application to burns, minor cuts, and bruises almost always produces successful results. At the same time the aroma is very soothing.

A benefit to applying the oil topically to a cut or burn on a child is to let them smell the aroma on the hands as it is applied and it will have a marvelous calming effect.

By using a diffuser this same soothing aroma can help with stress or other mental strain with adults and children. Again, because of the versatility of Lavender oil, it can be used equally well topically, diffused, or in baths.
