EUCALYPTUS

The name eucalyptus derives from the Greek words eu and kalypto meaning well-covered because it was used to cover marshy regions.

Eucalyptus essential oil is rich in tannins, polyphenols and the active compound eucalyptol. It contains decongesting agents which ease breathing and relieve coughs, sore throats and other symptoms of common colds.
