Sore throat is one of the most common complaints brought to the attention of otolaryngologists the world over. A sore throat may be symptomatic of a variety of illnesses, which is why the treatment must be matched to the individual. Gargling is an effective and, generally, necessary remedy when you have a sore throat. It helps to physically clear the deposits and by-products left by the micro-organisms from the mucous membranes of the throat.

Bactidol is an effective gargle and a proven means of relieving discomfort in the throat as well as a cure for a variety of oral infections.

In adults, it is enough to rinse the throat with an undiluted solution twice a day after meals for at least 30 seconds Bactidol has consistent local action (for up to 12 hours) and helps to eradicate the pathogenic micro-organisms, cleansing the mucous membranes and causing gentle pain relief.

INDICATIONS

- Sore Throat: Soothe and give temporary relief of minor sore throat.

- General Oral Hygiene: Marked beneficial effects on color and tone of mouth tissues and helps maintain healthy gums.

decay acids.

- Bad Breath: Reduce bad breath all day and night.

Direction:

Adults and children >12 years: Swish and gargle (full strength) half a mouthful (20 mL) for 30 sec twice daily (morning and evening). Liquid should be expelled and not be swallowed.

Use in children: Supervise children ages 6-12 years when using Bactidol. Do not administer to children <6 years unless directed by a physician.
