Introducing NPR
Nippon Piston Ring Co., Ltd. was founded in 1931 as the first piston ring manufacturer in Japan. The company has been continuously engaged in the production of various engine components for over half a century.
Engines are constantly being developed and made more efficient. Manufacturers of engine parts, together with
engine builders, have to meet the technical challenges modern designs present to them.
NPR has 18 engine test benches of its own, where its products are constantly tested and improved to ensure they are suitable for commercial use.
NPR’s products are supplied to every manufacture of internal combustion engines in Japan. Many are also
exported both as original equipment and after market parts to overseas market.
Abroad, NPR’s international operation continues to expand with many agents and distributors in many countries.
