In addition to the need for high performance cutting, the processing of large fish and multiple fish, required theTimberline Knives Montauk Point Fillet Knifeto have the ergonomic characteristics of a secure grip to insure minimum user fatigue and maximum comfort, and the correct amount of length and flex to maximize the useable meat and minimize waste.
To achieve these essential characteristics, Lightfoot incorporated a curved handle spine and finger choil and a 9.5" blade with just the right flex.
