Calcium: Adequate Calcium as part of a healthful diet, along with physical activity, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis in later life.
Foods with Calcium: Dairy products and certain vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage and mustard.
Magnesium: Assists with bone formation as the human skeleton utilizes a large percentage of the body’s Magnesium. Magnesium plays a fundamental role in more than 300 enzymatic reactions in the body.
Foods with Magnesium: Magnesium is found in foods such as spinach, black beans, potatoes, peanuts, brown rice and chicken breast.
Vitamin D3: An essential nutrient that works with Calcium to support bone health and bone density. It helps maintain strong bones and teeth by enhancing the absorption of Calcium and Phosphorus.
Foods with Vitamin D3: Fatty fish, egg yolks, cheese and beef liver.
Zinc: A trace mineral involved in healthy vision and smell. Eight percent of the body’s stored Zinc is found in the skin and hair.
Foods with Zinc: Oysters, beef, lamb, nuts and beans
