ANGLO SATE OVAL

“Anglo” in Indonesian means a brazier which is a container for fire, generally taking the form of an

upright standing or hanging metal bowl or box. Used for burning solid fuel, braziers principally

provide heat and light, but may also be used for cooking and cultural rituals. This “anglo” is oval in

shape and is made of clay. It is used for cooking sate or satay, is a dish of seasoned, skewered and

grilled meat, served with a sauce. Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat, mutton, beef,

pork, fish, other meats, or tofu.
