朱天文
山東臨朐人，1956年生於高雄鳳山。淡江大學英文系畢業。出身文學家族，高一即開始寫作，曾主編《三三集刊》、《三三雜誌》，並任三三書坊發行人，現專事寫作。 1982年，朱天文因為在報刊發表小說〈小畢的故事〉而與陳坤厚、侯孝賢結識，從此與台灣「新電影」導演、編劇、影評人往來頻繁，多方參與新電影的發展。自1983年與侯孝賢合作《風櫃來的人》之後，成為長期的合作夥伴，期間不斷出版和新電影導演所合作的電影劇本及原著小說，與電影各自成為獨立的作品。 曾獲聯合報第一屆小說獎第三名、中國時報第五屆時報文學獎甄選短篇小說優等獎，1994年並以《荒人手記》獲得首屆時報文學百萬小說獎。著有小說集《喬太守新記》、《傳說》、《小畢的故事》、《最想念的季節》、《炎夏之都》、《世紀末的華麗》、《朱天文電影小說選》、《花憶前身》，散文集《淡江記》、《三姐妹》、《下午茶話題》，電影劇本《戀戀風塵》、《悲情城市》、《戲夢人生》、《好男好女》、《千禧曼波》、《珈琲時光》、《最好的時光》、《紅氣球的旅行》等。
