Since ancient times, tea tasting has been a renowned knowledge which remains elusive to many. Mastering the essence is no an easy task. The elegant art of tea tasting is a congregation of five thousand years of Chinese history.

Tea has always played a quintessential role in the life of the ancient Chinese. This is immortalized in the great Tibetan proverb, which describes tea as blood, meat and life in Chinese. This further entrenches the value level of tea in the eyes of people.
 
Due to his passion for tea, Mr Yee founded My Eco Tea in 2005 with the intention of exploring and appreciating the art of tea tasting with other tea drinkers.
 
The name, My Eco Tea, was also created using a combination of his surname, which also means 'together with me' to signify his quest of sharing his tea knowledge with people of all walks of life, not caring about their status. This is completely erasing the external nature of the exclusion.
 
Although his purpose is to promote the art of tea tasting, Mr Yee however emphasizes the endorsement of "PU'ER" tea as the center of gravity of all teas, as it is different from all other mixed teas business models of the world.
 
The brand is also focused on the quality and source of the tea, to highlight its own characteristics as well as its health effects to the public.
 
The history of Pu'er tea can be traced to more than 3000 years ago during the "Zhou Wang" period. It was made from the fresh leaves of large-leaved tree species in Yunnan. Its surface is thick and comes in brown red shades.
 
Yunnan is the base of Pu'er tea production and the original habitat of the world's finest tea. The root of other types of tea also come from the Pu'er tea base in Yunnan.
 
Pu'er tea is easy to blend, not bitter and very easy to consume. It is consumable and tastes just as flavourful even after long immersions. Its main feature is its "post-fermentation" taste after the completion of the tea making process. It will bring in a different flavour after a certain extension of time.
 
This type of tea can be drunk and stored, as its value increased with time. It has a price appreciation feature that is similar to red wine. Both products emphasize the year of production and source base. It pays attention to its rare and preserved feature.
 
That is why Pu'er tea is known as the "an antique that can be drunk"! The growth of its value can even grow by up to five times in a year.
 
My Eco Tea sells the Pu'er tea that is from the Jia Mu Tang Chen Yuan Hao brand from Taiwan, the latter's tea uses handmade traditional stone technology to compress its leaves. Each piece of tea is sourced from the highest quality of tea leaves that are collected from the bud of the young tea tree. Its taste is of first-class quality and has lasting charm.
 
My Eco Tea is the exclusive agent of Jia Mu Tang Chen Yuan Hao brand in Malaysia . Mr Yee also produces the local brand with Jia Mu Tang, which is committed to promoting the brand awareness of this particular tea in Malaysia.
 
The company promotes the taste of tea from a single leave, which is different from the some hybrid Pu'er tea in the market.
 
With more than 20 years of experience in tea purchasing and collection, Mr Yee is committed to promoting tea as and giving exclusivity to people who similarly share the passion on tea tasting. He intends to promote this art throughout Malaysia and later on to the overseas markets. The company will continue to educate the public through advertising and exhibitions.
 
However, he does not intend to expand the business by setting up a random network. He is cautious in the selection of business partners and agents as only those with the interest and understanding of tea will be chosen to participate in the business. Only those with such enthusiasm will be able to fully immerse themselves in the realm of tea land.
 
Mr. Yee is determined to promote his love of tea, while at the same time adhering to the highest of quality.
