DAY 1: KUL – Beijing (-)

0915 depart from KLIA with Malaysia Airlines to Beijing. 1515 arrive in Beijing. Our rep will receive you at the airport. Transfer to Qianmen Hotel 4*. Check in at hotel. Free at leisure.

DAY 2: Beijing ( B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to one of the 7 Wonders Of the World, The 'GREAT WALL OF CHINA'. After lunch, visit Changling is the tomb of Emperor Zhudi, known as Yongle (1360-1420), and his empress Xushi. Yongle was the third emperor of the Ming dynasty. Construction of his tomb began in 1409 and was completed in 1427. It is the largest of the Ming tombs among the 13 mausoleums in the vicinity of Tianshou mountain.

The tomb is notable for its well preserved Ling'en hall (the Hall of Eminent Favor), made of a rare type of hardwood known as Phoebe nanmu.

Then, proceed to Bird's Nest Stadium, located in the Olympic Green, the stadium cost US$423 million. The design was awarded to a submission from the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron in April 2003 after a bidding process that included 13 final submissions. The design, which originated from the study of Chinese ceramics, implemented steel beams in order to hide supports for the retractable roof; giving the stadium the appearance of a bird's nest. Leading Chinese artist Ai Weiwei was the artistic consultant on the project.[6] The retractable roof was later removed from the design after inspiring the stadium's most recognizable aspect Ground was broken on 24 December 2003 and the stadium officially opened on 28 June 2008.

Also visit Water Cube, is an aquatics center that was built alongside Beijing National Stadium in the Olympic Green for the swimming competitions of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Despite its nickname, the building is not an actual cube, but a cuboid (a rectangular box). Ground was broken on December 24, 2003, and the Center was completed and handed over for use on January 28, 2008.Swimmers at the Water Cube broke 25 world records during the 2008 Olympics.

After the Olympics, the building underwent a 200 million Yuan revamp to turn half of its interior into a water park. The building officially re-opened on August 8, 2010. Evening, transfer to hotel.

DAY 3: Beijing ( B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Forbidden City. It was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government.

Built in 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 720,000 m2 (7,800,000 sq ft).The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987,and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

Then, Proceed to Tiananmen Square. It is a large city square in the center of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen Gate (Gate of Heavenly Peace) located to its North, separating it from the Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is the third largest city square in the world (440,000 m² - 880m by 500m or 109 acres - 960 by 550 yd). It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history.

Lunch, Visit Summer palace. Situated in the Haidian District northwest of Beijing City, the Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from central Beijing. Being the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, it greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long since been recognized as 'The Museum of Royal Gardens'. Transfer back to hotel.

DAY 4: Beijing ( B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Temple of Heaven.

The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven is a complex of religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest since 15th century. It has been regarded as a Taoist temple,[1] although Chinese Heaven worship, especially by the reigning monarch of the day, pre-dates Taoism.

Continue journey to Hutong tour, Hutongs are a type of narrow streets or alleys, most commonly associated with Beijing, China. In Beijing, hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences.[1] Many neighbourhoods were formed by joining one siheyuan to another to form a hutong, and then joining one hutong to another. The word hutong is also used to refer to such neighbourhoods.

Lunch, Continue Shopping at Wang Fu Jing, Wángfǔjǐng located in Dongcheng District, Beijing, and is one of the Chinese capital's most famous shopping streets. The majority of the main shopping area is pedestrianised and is very popular for shopping for both tourists and residents of the capital.

DAY 5:Beijing – Xi’an( B,L)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Airport. Fly to Xi’an. Arrive in Xi’an airport. Our local rep will receive you at the airport Transfer to hotel. Check in at Melody Hotel. Visit Great Mosque. It is the oldest and one of the most renowned mosques in the country founded in 742.

It was built and renovated in later periods (especially during the reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty). It remains a popular tourist site of Xi'an, and is still used by Chinese Muslims (mainly the Hui people) today as a place of worship. Unlike most mosques in Middle Eastern or Arab countries, the Great Mosque of Xi'an is completely Chinese in its construction and architectural style, except for some Arabic lettering and decorations, for the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets.

Visit Ancient City Wall, was built in the period of Ming dynasty with a long history about 600 years and the Xian Ancient City. Lunch

Muslim Snack Street. Due to the large Muslim community (called hui in Chinese), Muslim food is common. Nanshi Jie, by Dong Da Jie has a lively food market. Try local delicacies at the Beiyuanmen Hui Snacks Street where traditional Chinese buildings line the street and offer a amorgasbord of Muslim fare.

DAY 6: Xi’an ( B,L )

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Museum of Qin Terracotta Worriors and Horses, a remarkable sight appeared in 1974, near the ancient capital of Xi'an. Some farmers happened to dig up what turned out to be a large-scale pit with terracotta soldiers and horses, belonging to the Emperor Qin Shi Huang, or the Founding Emperor of the Qin. After 2,200 years, the Emperor's tremendous army stood as though living again before people's eyes.

After lunch then visit The Banpo Museum is located in a modern building some three miles to the east of Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province. It is near the bridge that crosses the river, long renowned as one of the famous eight rivers of Chang'an. The Museum was built in 1958 and is the first museum built for a 'mankind site,' a habitation site of early man. Its name comes from its location on the northern side of Banpo Village. The site marks a settlement that dates to the matrilineal clan commune period of the Neolithic period. Before its discovery in the twentieth century, it had been lying in wait for some 6,000 years.

DAY 7: Xi’an – Chong Qing( B )

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Xi’an airport. Fly to Chongqing. Our rep will receive you at the airport. Transfer to Ciqikou Ancient Town.

Perched on a hill overlooking the Jialing River in the west of the city, Ciqikou Old Town (Porcelain Village) dates back to the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). People always said "One flagstone road, and one thousand years' Ciqikou". This is never more true than when you visit Ciqikou Old Town where you will find the local residents dedicated to their traditional way of life, unaffected by modern influences to be found in the larger towns and cities. It is similar to the Jinli Ancient Street in Chengdu, but Ciqikou is bigger than that.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Jade Buddha Temple.The Jade Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai, China. As with many modern Chinese Buddhist temples, the current temple draws from both the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea.

After lunch, visit Yu Garden or Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

Evening, visit Era Acrobatic show. Breakfast at hotel. Visit Zhujiajiao. It is a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Archaeological findings dating back 5,000 years have also been found. 36 stone bridges and numerous rivers line Zhujiajiao, and many ancient buildings still line the riverbanks today. Lunch, Free and easy.

DAY 13: Shanghai - KL (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport. Take MAS flight at 10:15am. Arrive in KLIA at 1530.
